University of Évora hosts summer camp for children

The University of Évora's Social Action Services (SASUÉ) recently held its summer camp program from June 30 to July 10. The initiative hosted 55 children, aged 6 to 13, who are the children or grandchildren of university staff.

The two-week program featured a variety of sporting, cultural, and artistic activities, including group games, cinema sessions, music, and art workshops. Notable additions to this edition included a chess workshop and a “Passport to the World of Languages” activity organized by the University of Évora's Language Center.

A dedicated sports day was held at the University of Évora pavilion, focusing on physical activity and inclusive practices. The program involved multiple university departments, including the School of Arts, the School of Social Sciences, and the School of Health and Human Development.
