University of Washington alumni performance in NFL rosters

Former University of Washington football players have seen varying results during recent NFL roster cutdowns and draft cycles. Out of 40 former Huskies, 23 successfully secured spots on 53-man active rosters.

Notable rookies from the previous season who made rosters include wide receiver Denzel Boston with the Cleveland Browns, running back Jonah Coleman with the Denver Broncos, cornerback Tacario Davis with the Cincinnati Bengals, and both cornerback Ephesians Prysock and offensive lineman Carver Willis with the San Francisco 49ers. However, some players faced setbacks, such as edge rusher Zach Durfee and defensive tackle Anterio Thompson, who were placed on injured or non-football injury lists.

Veteran players like safety Budda Baker of the Arizona Cardinals continue their long-standing careers, marking his tenth consecutive season. Looking toward future prospects, players such as quarterback Demond Williams and offensive lineman Drew Azzopardi are identified as potential candidates for early selection in the 2027 NFL Draft.
