University of West Attica publishes new internal operating regulations

The University of West Attica (ΠΑΔΑ) has published its new Internal Operating Regulations in the Government Gazette, establishing a framework for student assessment, teaching methods, and student services.

Under the new regulations, instructors hold the responsibility for evaluating student performance. Assessment methods may vary by course and can include written exams, oral exams, or assigned coursework. All evaluation details must be outlined in the course syllabus within the Departmental Study Guide. In cases where multiple instructors teach a single course, examinations may be conducted jointly, with assessment methods being either uniform or differentiated per instructor, provided students are informed at the start of the semester.

The regulations also address distance learning, which may be utilized for courses involving international faculty, joint programs with foreign universities, interdepartmental programs, or during force majeure and emergency situations. Additionally, specific provisions are made for students with disabilities (ΦμεΑ), ensuring necessary accommodations and adaptations for sensory or motor impairments to facilitate their participation in examinations.
