University of Western Macedonia ASPiRE team Project Daedalus EuRoc 2026 Kozani

Members of the S.E.O. Kozani hiking club conducted a visit to the University of Western Macedonia on October 7. The group toured the laboratories of the ASPiRE team, where they were briefed on Project Daedalus.

The ASPiRE team, consisting of approximately 50 students, presented a rocket developed as part of Project Daedalus. This project serves as preparation for the EuRoc 2026 European competition, where university institutions aim for flights at altitudes up to 3,000 meters. The university's aerospace team previously received the Simulation Award at the 2023 UAS Challenge in the United Kingdom.
