University of Zagreb reports enrollment vacancies and housing reservation details

The University of Zagreb has announced significant availability for the upcoming academic year. Following the autumn enrollment period, 3,583 vacancies remain across various faculties. The highest number of available spots is in the social sciences with 1,439 openings, including the Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Law, and Faculty of Kinesiology. Technical sciences follow with 792 spots, while humanities offer 568. Other available positions are distributed across biotechnology, natural sciences, biomedicine, and the arts.

Regarding student accommodation, the Student Center Zagreb (SCZG) has opened online room reservations. Students can select specific pavilions and room locations through their personal web profiles. A two-phase reservation process is in place: first, for students wishing to retain rooms occupied during the 2025/2026 academic year, starting August 18, followed by reservations for vacant rooms starting August 21. While reservation is not mandatory, it facilitates the move-in process. Payments for reserved rooms must be settled between September 1 and September 10, 2026.
