UNDAC study finds finger‑puppet technique boosts oral language in 5‑year‑olds at I.E. 332 Domingo Savio, Peru

Researchers from Universidad Nacional Daniel Alcides Carrión evaluated the effect of a finger‑puppet technique on oral language development among five‑year‑old children at the I.E. 332 "Domingo Savio" in San Ramón, Chanchamayo, Peru. Using a descriptive, inductive‑deductive approach, the study observed a sample of 45 children from grades A and B. An observation sheet measured pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar, verbal fluency and comprehension. Results indicated that the puppet sessions positively influenced these language dimensions, providing evidence that the technique can improve linguistic skills in early childhood education and offering guidance for pedagogical strategies.
