University Teaching Competencies and TPACK Model Spur Digital Shift in Panama, Mexico

University professors in Panama are urged to develop comprehensive didactic competencies that go beyond subject knowledge, incorporating clear, motivating, and innovative teaching methods. Emphasis is placed on active learning strategies such as project‑based work, collaborative tasks, case studies, and flipped classrooms, as well as the purposeful use of digital platforms, AI tools, and other technologies to enhance student participation and knowledge construction.
