Unlimit secures money service operator license in Hong Kong
Unlimit, a financial infrastructure company, has obtained a money service operator license from Hong Kong’s Commissioner of Customs and Excise. The company operates Stable.com, a stablecoin clearing house and exchange platform that integrates multi-currency balances, cards, and treasury management with access to tokenized assets and non-custodial decentralized finance (DeFi).
Using its new Hong Kong hub, Unlimit intends to introduce local payment channels to support businesses operating throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Michele Fung, head of APAC at Unlimit, stated that the license will assist businesses in managing cross-border money movements as they expand.
