Unmanned aerial vehicle discovered off the coast of Bartın

A third unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) has been discovered off the coast of Bartın, Turkey, marking the third such find in the Black Sea region within the last 70 days. The latest drone was spotted by youths near Kapısuyu village and subsequently recovered by gendarmerie teams under coast guard supervision.

Initial inspections indicate the drone contains no ammunition. The device is constructed from lightweight materials, including styrofoam for the body and wings, wooden propellers, and plastic screws. Experts suggest the UAVs may be of Russian origin and are similar to models used in the conflict between Russia and Ukraine. Further technical analysis is expected to take place in Ankara to determine the exact origin and specifications of the craft.
