UNMDP to host Seventh Latin American Bee Research Workshop

The National University of Mar del Plata (UNMDP) will host the Seventh Workshop of the Latin American Bee Research Society (SOLATINA) on August 29 and 30. The event aims to bring together approximately 80 participants from across the region to exchange research findings regarding pollinators.

Organizers, including researcher Melisa Garrido, stated the goal is to share the latest investigations to protect bees and other pollinators. Key topics include monitoring hive losses, the impact of agricultural pesticides, and the effects of human activity on bee diseases and population declines.
