Recklinghausen and Unna regions announce scheduled speed camera checks

Authorities in the Recklinghausen district and Unna district have announced scheduled mobile speed enforcement and traffic controls for the week of September 21, 2026.

In Recklinghausen, mobile speed cameras will target various streets throughout the week, including Heidestraße, Westfalenstraße, and Ludwig-Erhard-Allee. While specific locations are being communicated for transparency, unannounced measurements may still occur.

In Dorsten, the municipal enforcement service is conducting speed checks on streets such as Rekener Straße and Glück-Auf-Straße. Additionally, officers will perform patrols to enforce dog ownership regulations, including the requirement to carry waste bags and prohibitions against bringing dogs to playgrounds.

In the Unna district, mobile speed enforcement will take place across most municipalities, excluding Lünen. Planned locations include various streets in Unna, Schwerte, Selm, Werne, Kamen, Fröndenberg, Bönen, Holzwickede, and Bergkamen, with speed limits ranging from 10 km/h to 70 km/h.
