UNNE announces program for 1st International University Short Film Festival

The Universidad Nacional del Nordeste (UNNE) and the Faculty of Arts, Design, and Cultural Sciences (FADyCC) have announced the full program for ‘EL SOL’, the 1st International University Short Film and Pitching Festival. The event will take place from September 10 to 12, featuring audiovisual screenings, professional exchange, and training sessions.

The festival will be held in person at the FADyCC and the ‘Raúl Ricardo Alfonsín’ Aula Magna, with a virtual component for remote spectators and jurors. Activities include the premiere of university documentaries, a retrospective of short films produced over the last decade, and a showcase of student works that have participated in international festivals.

A key highlight is the 10th Pitching Fair on September 11, where students will present audiovisual projects in development to specialists and industry guests. The event will conclude on September 12 with a talk and screening by actor and director Martín Piroyansky, followed by the pitching awards.
