Unni Mukundan reportedly in talks for Ajith Kumar's 'Dare Devil

Malayalam actor Unni Mukundan is reportedly in discussions to play a significant villainous role in the upcoming Tamil action film ‘Dare Devil’, starring Ajith Kumar. The role was initially considered for superstar Mohanlal, but he was reportedly unable to accommodate the filming schedule due to commitments to ‘Jailer 2’.

Directed by Adhik Ravichandran and produced by Shalini Ajithkumar, ‘Dare Devil’ is expected to be a large-scale production. While casting details remain unconfirmed by the production team, there is additional speculation regarding potential character roles for Kichcha Sudeepa and Upendra.

Production for the film is scheduled to begin on November 2, 2026, with a planned release in mid-2027. The project marks a reunion for Kumar and director Ravichandran following their 2025 collaboration, ‘Good Bad Ugly’.
