Uno Bianca gang: Savi and Occhipinti questioned by Bologna prosecutors

Prosecutors in Bologna have questioned Alberto Savi and Marino Occhipinti as part of a new investigation into the Uno Bianca criminal gang. The gang, active between 1987 and 1994, is linked to 23 deaths and over 100 injuries across Emilia-Romagna and Marche.

The investigation, opened in 2023, seeks to uncover potential accomplices, sponsors, or institutional coverages that may have supported the group. During questioning, Savi addressed previous claims that the gang benefited from 'cover agents.' Additionally, investigators are examining a 1988 wedding agenda belonging to Occhipinti, which lists several gang members as guests, suggesting deep personal ties within the organization.

In a separate but related criminal development, authorities in Naples and Avellino have arrested two men, Nicola Lanzaro and Mario Peluso, for allegedly aiding Antonio Aloia. Aloia, a gang leader from Acerra, is a fugitive accused of the December 2025 murder of Ottavio Colalongo. The suspects are accused of helping Aloia evade both criminal investigations and existing prison sentences to benefit the Luongo–Covone–Aloia criminal group.
