UNO Logística requests fuel subsidies and regional logistics acceleration

The Spanish logistics and transport organization UNO Logística has presented five key demands to the Spanish government to mitigate the economic impact of rising fuel prices and Middle East conflicts. During a meeting with Economy Minister Carlos Cuerpo and State Secretary Amparo López, UNO President Francisco Aranda proposed doubling the current fuel aid for professional diesel users from 20 to 40 cents per liter and extending this support until at least December 31, 2026.

Additionally, the organization is requesting that these fuel subsidies be extended to include vans weighing up to 3,500 kilograms, a group currently ineligible for professional diesel benefits.

On a regional level, UNO is also calling on the Government of Aragon to accelerate the implementation of its 2025-2040 Logistics Plan. The organization aims to expand the region's logistics success beyond Zaragoza to include Huesca and Teruel, leveraging Huesca's connections to France and Teruel's position on the Zaragoza-Valencia axis to attract further investment.
