Unpeople release debut album We Are Unpeople

London-based alternative rock band unpeople has released their debut full-length album, titled ‘we are unpeople’, via SharpTone Records. The release is accompanied by a new track and fan lyric video for the song ‘haunted’.

Formed in the summer of 2023 following the conclusion of the band Press to Meco, the group consists of Jake Crawford, Luke Caley, Em Lodge, and Richard Rayner. The band’s sound is characterized by a blend of heavy riffs, large choruses, and four-part vocal harmonies.

The songwriting process for the album was described as highly collaborative and organic, often beginning with musical jams and riffs. The band recorded the material themselves, maintaining complete creative control while managing the dual responsibilities of production and artistry.
