Unrelated criminal incidents reported in Argentina and Spain

Two separate violent incidents have been reported in different regions. In Caucete, Argentina, an 83-year-old retiree reported being attacked in her home while sleeping. The victim alleged that a neighbor entered her residence, covered her mouth, and struck her in the face while shouting insults. The woman was transported to a local hospital with a suspected nasal fracture and required further imaging to rule out brain injuries. The case is being investigated as a matter of physical injury.

In Lloret de Mar, Spain, a 45-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted and robbed of her mobile phone. The victim reported being pushed from behind, causing her to fall and sustain leg injuries. Mossos d’Esquadra reportedly detained a young man in connection with the incident. The victim indicated she recognized the suspect from a previous year when he had stayed at the hotel where she worked.
