Unrelated incidents reported in Argentina and Mexico

In Rivadavia, Argentina, a 53-year-old woman was attacked by two large dogs while riding her bicycle on a provincial route in the La Libertad district. The victim, identified as Aelandra Lobos, suffered ankle and pelvis fractures and was transported to Saporiti Hospital. The owner of the dogs has been charged with negligent injuries caused by animals. This follows a similar fatal incident in the same district in August 2022.

In Escuinapa, Mexico, a woman identified as Fátima was fatally shot while riding her bicycle home from work. The attack occurred late Thursday night in the Centro neighborhood as she was traveling from a local gas station. Paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross confirmed she had no vital signs upon arrival. Authorities have secured the scene and are investigating the homicide.
