Unrelated incidents reported in Italy

Two separate incidents occurred in Italy involving elevators. In Tortona, four people were trapped inside a supermarket elevator for approximately thirty minutes due to a technical malfunction. The Tortona Fire Department responded to the scene and successfully released all occupants without injury.

In Naples, an attempted robbery took place inside the Sanità elevator. Assailants reportedly attempted to snatch a woman's bag while she was inside the lift. A bystander who attempted to intervene was pushed to the ground, resulting in a head injury. Police and medical services attended the scene, and investigators are reviewing surveillance footage. The elevator has been closed following the incident.
