Unrelated news reports from London and Dhaka
Two separate incidents have been reported. In London, a story details the 22-year reunion between a man and the person who rescued him as a newborn. In 1994, Joe Campbell discovered a newborn baby wrapped in cloth inside a telephone booth in Forest Gate. The infant, later named April, had been left there by a mother facing domestic violence who had contacted the Samaritans for help. The child was subsequently adopted.
In Dhaka, the body of Tahsif Saury, a former Air Force Flight Lieutenant, was recovered from the Turag River. His family reported that he left his home in Uttara on a Tuesday evening to meet a friend and sent a message to his mother at 1:35 AM stating he was returning home. He never arrived, and his motorcycle remains missing. Police recovered his body from the Rajabari Ghat area on Wednesday afternoon.
