Unrivaled reaches $650 million valuation following Series C funding
Unrivaled, a professional 3x3 women’s basketball league co-founded by WNBA stars Napheesa Collier and Breanna Stewart, has completed an oversubscribed Series C funding round. This investment brings the league’s estimated valuation to $650 million and increases the player equity pool to approximately $200 million.
Ten Pillars Sports Fund, supported by UC Investments, led the funding round, which exceeded the league’s initial $100 million target. Other participants include existing investors such as Bessemer Venture Partners, Ashton Kutcher, Carmelo Anthony, and Alex Morgan’s Trybe Ventures.
League president and co-founder Alex Bazzell stated that the capital will support the league as it enters its third season, which begins January 8. While the league will maintain a primary home base in Miami for the upcoming season, the funding is intended to facilitate potential geographic expansion and tour stops, following successful sellout events in Brooklyn and Philadelphia.
