UNSAAC and SUNEDU work to secure university branch in Curahuasi

Authorities from the Universidad Nacional de San Antonio Abad del Cusco (UNSAAC), the National Superintendency of Higher University Education (SUNEDU), and local government officials met in Curahuasi to discuss the continuity of the university's local branch.

The meeting focused on securing the future of the Environmental Engineering and Natural Resources program, which currently serves approximately 100 students. Participants, including the Mayor of Curahuasi and the Rector of UNSAAC, aim to establish an administrative and academic schedule to guarantee the program's permanence. Projections include the possibility of holding a new admission exam next year to expand higher education access in the region.
