UNSE to launch two new distance learning programs
The Faculty of Exact Sciences and Technologies at the National University of Santiago del Estero (UNSE) is developing two new distance-learning programs scheduled for launch in 2027.
The first program is a University Technician degree in Occupational Health and Safety, which will be offered in a fully virtual format. According to Dean Héctor Paz, the proposal is in its final stages and aims to provide trained professionals to address sector-specific challenges.
The second program is a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, designed as a curricular complementation cycle for non-university tertiary teachers. This degree will allow educators from Santiago del Estero and other provinces to obtain a university degree entirely from their place of residence.
Paz noted that virtual education serves as a tool for educational inclusion and regional development, providing opportunities for those unable to attend in-person classes due to work or geographic location.
