Unshattered nonprofit featured on The Kelly Clarkson Show

Unshattered, a Hudson Valley-based nonprofit, was recently featured on one of the final episodes of ‘The Kelly Clarkson Show’. Founded by Kelly Lyndgaard, the 501c3 organization aims to break the addiction relapse cycle by providing a healing-centered workplace community and full-time employment for women in recovery.

The nonprofit produces premium, sustainable goods, such as handbags and accessories, handcrafted from reclaimed and upcycled materials, including luxury car interiors. In 2023, the organization received a $100,000 grant from Southwest Airlines during a ‘Rad Humans’ segment, along with a donation of leather from over 3,000 airplane seats to be used in their crafting process.

During the recent appearance, Lyndgaard requested the song ‘Sober’ by Kelly Clarkson. The organization expressed gratitude on social media, describing themselves as an ‘Ambassador of Possibility’ regarding the potential for life on the other side of recovery.
