Unstop rolls out India's first talent acquisition hackathon and launches AI hiring agents
Unstop, India’s leading early‑talent hiring platform, partnered with People Matters to launch the TA Hackathon, the country's first hackathon created exclusively for talent‑acquisition and HR professionals. The competition, open to working professionals across India, offers a prize pool of ₹1.5 lakh, with a submission deadline of 3 August 2024 (11:00 AM IST) and a grand finale on 6 August 2024 at People Matters TechHR India 2026 in Delhi.
In the same announcement, Unstop introduced seven purpose‑built AI agents that automate the full enterprise hiring lifecycle—from sourcing and resume screening to assessments, interviews, scheduling and secure proctoring. The agents claim up to 90 % faster candidate shortlisting, 99.9 % cheating detection, and access to more than 850 million global candidate profiles. The platform is already used by over 30,000 recruiters, including Amazon, Walmart, Tata, Reliance and L’Oréal.
