Untag Surabaya student develops AI to track MSME transaction anomalies
Maria Goreti Dhiki, a student at Universitas 17 Agustus 1945 (Untag) Surabaya, has developed an Artificial Intelligence system designed to track anomalous financial transactions for Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs).
Utilizing the Isolation Forest algorithm, the system automatically distinguishes between normal and irregular data patterns by analyzing transaction amounts, timing, and frequency. The tool aims to provide small business owners with an automated way to monitor digital wallet transactions and daily sales records, reducing the need for manual bookkeeping and improving digital security.
