Mariana Brey escapes attempted robbery in Quilmes

Journalist Mariana Brey narrowly escaped an attempted robbery by two individuals on a motorcycle in Quilmes, Argentina. The incident occurred around 3:30 PM as Brey was arriving at her destination.

Security footage from a neighbor captured the sequence, showing the suspects circling back after Brey parked her vehicle. One assailant reportedly dismounted the motorcycle and approached her while armed. Brey managed to evade the attack by running toward a nearby gate and shouting for help.

Local workers from a nearby car wash and a neighbor intervened, which caused the criminals to flee the scene without completing the robbery. Brey expressed her shock and indignation regarding the event, noting that she intends to file a formal complaint with the police.
