UP International Trade Show 2026 opens in Greater Noida
The fourth edition of the Uttar Pradesh International Trade Show (UPITS 2026) commenced on September 25 at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida. Inaugurated by Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the five-day event aims to position the state as a global sourcing hub and support the vision of a $1 trillion economy.
The trade show features over 2,400 exhibitors and is expected to attract approximately 150,000 B2B visitors and up to 500,000 B2C visitors. International participation is significant, with more than 550 buyers from over 85 countries attending. Six nations—Japan, Austria, Russia, Singapore, Belarus, and Vietnam—are participating as official partner countries.
A central focus of the event is the One District One Product (ODOP) initiative, showcasing traditional crafts and industries such as Bhadohi carpets, Moradabad brassware, and Kannauj perfume. The event also highlights modern sectors including defense, aerospace, electronics, and renewable energy. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath noted that the state's exports have already exceeded ₹2 lakh crore.
