UP-Maputo authorizes bank transfers for fees due to system failures

The Pedagogical University of Maputo (UP-Maputo) has provisionally authorized the payment of registration fees and monthly tuition via bank deposit or transfer. This decision follows technical constraints encountered during the transition to a new Academic Management System.

A circular from the Rector's Office, dated October 9, 2026, states that students unable to use the digital platform should make payments to institutional accounts at Millennium BIM or Banco Comercial e de Investimentos (BCI). To ensure proper identification, students must include their full name and student code during the transaction and present proof of payment to the Finance Department for validation.

Students experiencing blocked access, navigation issues, or those requiring installment payments are advised to visit the Finance Department at the UP-Sede or Lhanguene campuses for technical assistance. These transitional measures are being managed by the Finance Department in coordination with the Academic Registry and the technical system team.
