Upcoming cinema highlights include ‘Digger’ and ‘Corpus Delicti’

Several upcoming film releases are highlighted following the Venice Film Festival. One notable production is ‘Digger’, directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu and produced by Warner Bros. The film features Tom Cruise in a transformative role as an eccentric oil baron named Digger Rockwell, appearing alongside German actress Sandra Hüller. Described as a ‘comedy of catastrophic proportions’, it is scheduled for release on October 1.

Another significant release is ‘Corpus Delicti’, directed by Lena Stahl and based on the bestseller by Juli Zeh. Set in a near-future society focused on health and security, the film stars Hannah Herzsprung and Damian Hardung as siblings. It is also set to premiere on October 1.

Additionally, ‘Primetime’ by Lance Oppenheim, starring Robert Pattinson as journalist Chris Hansen, is scheduled for release on September 24.
