Upcoming summer festivals across German villages in 2026

Several local cultural festivals are scheduled in Germany for the summer of 2026. The St. Marcus Gemeinde will host the seventh "Dorfsingen" in Wettmar, Burgwedel, on 29 August, featuring community sing‑along sessions with live piano, guitar, bass and drums accompaniment and a surprise guest singer. Entry is free, with drinks available for donation.

The Winzerfest Werder will take place on 24‑25 July at the Werderaner Wachtelberg, offering wines from multiple German regions, live music and food stalls. Admission is free; wine and refreshments are sold separately.

Neuses will hold its traditional Backfest on 1 August, reviving a historic stone oven to bake farm breads, roasted chicken and grilled pork knuckles. The event includes a cocktail bar and live music, with pre‑ordering required for certain dishes. Entry is free.
