UPL demands explanations for León-Palencia train cancellations

The political party UPL has demanded explanations following the cancellation of two regional trains between León and Palencia on Sunday, September 27. The affected services were the 18214 León-Palencia and 18215 Palencia-León lines.

UPL reported that travelers were left without clear information regarding alternative transportation, such as replacement buses. The party highlighted that the Sahagún station remained closed, preventing passengers from seeking in-person assistance, and noted that telephone support failed to provide solutions.

UPL criticized the recurring nature of these cancellations and called upon Renfe and the Ministry of Transport to guarantee service reliability, improve communication during incidents, and adjust schedules to better meet user needs.
