Upper Manhattan hosts various Halloween and autumn community events

Upper Manhattan will host several car-free “Trick or Streets” locations for Halloween celebrations. These events, held at various Open Streets and public spaces, feature live music, seasonal arts and crafts, and extended hours for trick-or-treating. Scheduled activities include festivities in East Harlem, West Harlem, Central Harlem, and Washington Heights occurring between October 24 and October 31.

Additional community activities in the Upper West Side include a family-friendly Halloween party at the Bernie Wohl Center featuring face painting and live music. The Riverside Park Conservancy is also hosting its third annual Pup Halloween Parade, while the New York Buddhist Church will hold an Aki Matsuri autumn festival featuring Japanese film, martial arts, and traditional crafts.
