Upper Midwest weather forecast: Fog and storm risks
Stagnant weather conditions are bringing fog and potential storms to parts of the Upper Midwest. In North Iowa, there is a 1 in 5 risk of severe weather, with damaging winds being the primary concern during potential thunderstorms expected between 4 AM and 7 AM Tuesday.
In the Minnesota Arrowhead and northwest Wisconsin regions, dense fog may develop after midnight, potentially reducing visibility to less than one mile during the early morning hours. While fog is expected to lift after sunrise, a low-pressure system approaching late Friday night may bring showers and thunderstorms to the area through Saturday.
