Upper Palatinate Forest to host BR-Wandertouren 2027

The BR-Wandertouren 2027 will take place in the Upper Palatinate Forest (Oberpfälzer Wald) from May 13 to May 16, 2027. Following the Altmühltal region in 2026, the four-day program aims to showcase the diverse landscapes and cultural traditions of the area.

The event will feature four distinct locations: Windischeschenbach, Murner See, Weiden, and Friedenfels. The itinerary includes explorations of the Waldnaabtal nature reserve, the Upper Palatinate Lake District, and the rock formations of the Steinwald. The program begins in Windischeschenbach, focusing on local Zoigl culture and regional natural treasures.
