Upper Silesian media productions expand with new series

New media productions set in Upper Silesia are expanding, including the tenth episode of the animated series ‘Rojbers’ and the premiere of the crime drama ‘Gliniarze. Śląsk’.

Created by Dariusz Nojman using Blender, the animated series ‘Rojbers’ continues its depiction of 1990s Silesia. The tenth episode, titled ‘Dres, Kura i Ognicho’, focuses on a group of characters preparing for a bonfire, exploring themes of nostalgia and local identity through authentic Silesian dialect and adult-oriented subject matter.

Simultaneously, the crime series ‘Gliniarze. Śląsk’ premieres on Polsat. Set within the Upper Silesian and Zagłębie Metropolis, the show follows a police team tackling criminal, economic, and drug-related offenses. The production features actors such as Zbigniew Stryj and Agnieszka Wagner and was filmed across various cities in the Katowice agglomeration, including Sosnowiec, Bytom, and Tychy.
