UPSSSC announces Junior Engineer recruitment and revised PET schedule

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has announced recruitment for 134 Junior Engineer (Agriculture) positions under the Director of Agriculture. The application process for these roles began on September 17, 2026, and will remain open until October 7, 2026, with a modification window available until October 14.

To be eligible, candidates must have passed 10th grade and hold a three-year Agriculture Engineering Diploma. Applicants must also possess a valid UPSSSC PET 2025 score card. The age limit for candidates is set between 18 and 40 years as of July 1, 2026, with relaxations provided for reserved categories. The application fee is 25 rupees for all categories.

Additionally, the UPSSSC has released a revised schedule for the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2026. Originally proposed for October 23–25, the exam dates have been shifted to October and November. The exam will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions across various subjects, including history, geography, and general science, with a negative marking penalty of one-fourth for incorrect answers.
