UPT launches virtual IBAN service for corporate EUR and GBP accounts

UPT, a fintech subsidiary of Aktif Bank, has announced a partnership with Visa Direct to integrate Currencycloud into its service offerings. This collaboration allows UPTION Corporate customers to access virtual IBANs for EUR and GBP under their own company names.

The service is designed to centralize the management of international incoming and outgoing payments through a single platform. By utilizing Currencycloud’s infrastructure, UPT will provide real-time exchange rate functions to improve the efficiency of cross-border transactions. While the initial rollout focuses on Euro and British Pound accounts, the company plans to integrate USD support at a later date.

UPT CEO Murat Kastan stated that the goal is to simplify and streamline international payment processes for corporate clients, helping them manage global trade activities more effectively through a reliable transaction experience.
