UQAM awards honorary doctorates to Warsaw School of Economics professors

The Université du Québec à Montréal (UQAM) has awarded three honorary doctorates to professors from the Warsaw School of Economics (SGH) in recognition of their contributions to a long-standing academic partnership. During a ceremony held on October 13 at SGH, UQAM Rector Stéphane Pallage and ESG UQAM Dean Komlan Sedzro presented the honors to Marek Rocki, Adam Budnikowski, and Piotr Grzegorz Wachowiak.

The collaboration between the two institutions has spanned over 30 years and led to the creation of the Canadian Executive MBA (CEMBA) program. In addition to the doctorates, Piotr Górski received the Décadra Prize from ESG UQAM for his exceptional commitment to the international influence of the school and the sustainability of the CEMBA program.
