Uranium demand surge prompts investment push by Premier American Uranium and IsoEnergy

Analysts expect global uranium demand to increase by at least 30 % over the next several years, creating supply shortfalls that could emerge as early as 2030. Calculations by the World Nuclear Association indicate a deficit of roughly 1.4 billion pounds of uranium by 2045, widening to more than three billion pounds if nuclear capacity triples by 2050. Around 311 reactors are proposed worldwide, with 124 in planning, 79 under construction and 438 already operating.

Premier American Uranium Corp. and IsoEnergy Ltd., highlighted by SRC Swiss Resource Capital, are positioning their high‑grade projects to meet this gap. Premier American Uranium holds assets across five U.S. regions, including the Cebolleta project in New Mexico and the Kaycee project in Wyoming, and has recently raised private‑placement funding. IsoEnergy’s flagship Larocque East project in Saskatchewan, Canada, alongside additional developments in Australia and Argentina, is slated to move into production soon. Both firms argue that expanding uranium portfolios can bolster energy security and benefit investors as governments in the United States, Canada, France, the United Kingdom and other nations commit to nuclear power expansion.
