After taking an early lead through a header by Matheus Savio in the 7th minute, Urawa conceded two goals in the first half to Sei Se Usui and Shusei Morooka, leaving them trailing 2-1 at the break.

In the closing stages of the match, Urawa's tactical substitutions proved decisive. Substitute Koutaro Hayashi equalized in the 83rd minute following a long throw, and just two minutes later, Ado Onaiwu scored a header from a Takuro Kaneko cross to complete the turnaround. This marks Urawa's second consecutive comeback win.

Despite the victory, Urawa manager Cho Gue-rae expressed dissatisfaction with the team's ability to prevent opponents from taking the lead, stating he still feels a lack of leadership in managing the game. Player Takuro Kaneko also emphasized the need to focus on defensive stability to complement their scoring ability.
