Urban and industrial development projects announced in Salamanca and Alfarrasí

In Salamanca, the construction company Montellano has obtained an urban license to build 47 single-family homes in the Zurguén neighborhood. The project, located on Luxembourg Street within sector 65, will be developed on a site overlooking a local stream. This development is part of a long-term urban expansion plan for the area, which includes recent improvements to local paths and the conversion of a plot into a sensor-equipped parking area.

Meanwhile, in Alfarrasí, local authorities are processing a modification to the General Urban Development Plan (PGOU) to expand industrial land. The proposal aims to reclassify approximately 19 hectares of protected agricultural land into urbanizable industrial land. This expansion is intended to support the growth of established local plastic companies, such as Picda, Gaviplas SL, and Plásticos Jumarsol SAU, while also attracting new businesses by providing larger industrial plots.
