Sun Pharmaceutical Industries posted a 10.1% rise in Q1 FY27 sales to Rs 151,836 million and a 3.1% increase in adjusted net profit to Rs 30,894 million, driven by strong growth in its specialty medicines segment and recent semaglutide approvals in India, Brazil and South Africa.
Urban Company recorded a consolidated net loss of Rs 92.1 crore for the quarter, despite a 44% jump in revenue to Rs 528.3 crore and the addition of 1.2 million new users. The company said it remains on track to achieve adjusted EBITDA breakeven by Q3 FY28.
CleanMax Enviro Energy Solutions reported revenue more than doubling year‑on‑year to Rs 832 crore and a profit after tax of Rs 55 crore, after a loss in the prior year. The firm added over 0.5 GW of renewable capacity, bringing its contracted capacity to 6.8 GW.
Raymond Lifestyle widened its consolidated loss to Rs 22.59 crore, while revenue grew 6% to Rs 1,515.51 crore, supported by premiumisation and garmenting volume recovery linked to trade tailwinds.
These results illustrate a varied performance landscape among major Indian firms in the first quarter of FY27, with some companies posting strong top‑line growth and others grappling with profitability challenges.
