Urban development and heritage projects in Constanța and Fălești
Urban development and heritage preservation projects are underway in Constanța, Romania, and Fălești, Moldova.
In Constanța, the city center is experiencing a visible contrast between historical architecture and new real estate developments. A construction permit has been issued for the modernization and consolidation of buildings on Tudor Vladimirescu Street, which will include transforming an existing structure into a residence and adding floors to another for commercial use. Additionally, the POV Garden project is introducing new public dining concepts to the area, contributing to a functional shift in the urban landscape.
In Fălești, Moldova, a cross-border project involving Iași County, Romania, has successfully rehabilitated a century-old granite-paved street and a local museum. The investment, exceeding 1.7 million euros, was funded through European funds and local contributions. The project restored Ștefan cel Mare Street, a unique historical monument, and fully renovated the interior of the Lazăr Dubinovschi District Museum of History and Ethnography, including its craft workshops.
