Urban development projects advance in Leipzig and Feldafing

Various residential and commercial development projects are progressing in Germany. In Leipzig-Mitte, the Löwitz Quartier is seeing construction progress on Baufeld 5. This specific site, featuring the ‘LEO & LEA’ project, will consist of 179 rental and owner-occupied apartments. A recent networking event hosted by Hamburg Team, Goldbeck, and Sparkasse Leipzig provided stakeholders with insights into the construction status and serial housing methods being utilized.

In Feldafing, the ‘Feldafinger Höhe’ project is transforming a former hospital site into an open district. Spanning 15,300 square meters, the development will include eight residential buildings situated on a natural slope, designed to connect the town center with the lake. The project aims to include green spaces, car-free paths, and play areas. Additionally, the plan features four commercial units intended to support local providers and revitalize the local district square through a sustainable energy and mobility concept.
