Urban development projects approved in Getxo and Seville
In Getxo, Spain, the Local Government Board has granted a license to rehabilitate and divide a protected building at 6 Particular de Ibarra into four separate residences. The property, located within a Monumental Complex, is subject to strict heritage requirements. These include maintaining original window designs and colors, adhering to specific roof tile styles, and avoiding PVC gutters. The project has a budget of 718,550 euros.
In Seville, plans are advancing for a new neighborhood near Cortijo de Cuarto that will feature approximately 6,000 homes, including 3,000 public or protected units aimed at families and young people. The project includes 100,000 square meters for offices and commerce, alongside 65 hectares of green spaces. As part of the initial phase, a tender has been issued for the demolition of several dilapidated structures on the site, such as old warehouses and outbuildings, to clear the land for development.
