Urban developments in Catanzaro and Ascoli

In Catanzaro, local authorities inaugurated Isola 22, a new pedestrian zone covering approximately 300 meters of Corso Mazzini. The project aims to reclaim the historic center for citizens by removing vehicular traffic to encourage walking, social interaction, and commercial activity. Mayor Nicola Fiorita noted that while the measure is not revolutionary, it aligns with European urban models and responds to citizen demands for improved livability.

In Ascoli, the real estate agency 2Emme Immobiliare has expanded its operations by opening a new headquarters in the historic center near Porta Tufilla. The agency acquired the site of a long-standing mechanical workshop that had operated for nearly fifty years. The new space, designed by architects Aleandro Orsini and Sonia Calvelli, preserves certain historical elements of the former workshop while providing more room for the agency's team and clients.
