Urban infrastructure maintenance requested in Araras and Entroncamento

In Araras, Brazil, City Councilor Mário Corrochel Neto (Bonezinho) has formally requested the replacement and maintenance of street identification signs throughout the city. The request follows resident complaints regarding illegible and worn-out signage. The councilor noted that the poor condition of the signs hinders residents, delivery services, and emergency responders who rely on accurate addresses to provide timely assistance.

In Entroncamento, Portugal, local authorities have identified 163 pedestrian crossings requiring urgent intervention due to degradation. City Council President Nelson Cunha stated that an investment of approximately 40,000 to 50,000 euros is estimated for these repairs. The municipality is considering phased interventions and may acquire its own machinery to perform the work directly, while also evaluating whether to use more durable thermoplastic materials or more economical cold-application solutions.
