Various Spanish municipalities announce local infrastructure and service updates

Multiple municipalities across Spain are initiating various local development and maintenance projects. In La Palma, the Cabildo has approved 24.5 million euros to fund dependency care services through 2028. Additionally, the Cabildo is tendering for three photovoltaic self-consumption installations in municipal buildings with a budget of 434,081 euros.

Urban improvements are underway in several cities. Lugo is investing 1.58 million euros in the modernization of the Pazo de Feiras, while Marbella is hosting technical sessions regarding its new General Urban Development Plan (PGOM). In Vigo, new residential land developments are being processed in Couto San Honorato and Tomás Paredes.

Infrastructure maintenance includes asphalt works in Torrelavega and Soto del Real, and sidewalk renovations in Alcalá. Other local projects include the creation of new parking spaces in Santurtzi, the installation of solar-ready canopies in Illescas, and the opening of a five-hectare park in Madrid's San Blas-Canillejas district.
