Urban Outfitters stock rises following Abercrombie & Fitch earnings
Urban Outfitters shares rose as much as 8.5% following strong second-quarter fiscal 2026 results from competitor Abercrombie & Fitch.
Abercrombie & Fitch reported record second-quarter net sales of $1.3 billion, a 5% increase that marked its 15th consecutive quarter of growth. The company saw broad gains across regions, including a 19% increase in sales in the Asia Pacific region. Adjusted earnings per diluted share rose 79% to $4.17, a figure that included a $100 million benefit from tariff refunds following a Supreme Court ruling regarding the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
In response to the performance, Abercrombie & Fitch raised its full-year sales growth outlook to a range of 3% to 5%.
